The City of Mount Vernon is accepting bids on the following items:

1996 Ford Ranger Pick-up

2002 Tem-Trailer Gooseneck (20 foot)

1999 New Holland Mower

Snapper Mower

Woods Side Boom Mower

2- Plastic Tanks (150 gallons)

4- Electric Motors (440 volt 3 phase)

Equipment can be seen at the Waste Water Treatment Plant located at 326 N. Kaufman Street during normal business hours from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.  All bids must be clearly marked “SEALED BID” and returned to the City Secretary’s office at City Hall, 109 N. Kaufman Street, Mount Vernon prior to February 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at which time they will be publicly opened.  The City has the right to reject any or all bids.
