The MVISD Board of Trustees will hold a hearing for public discussion of the 2009–2010 Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) Annual Report in a Regular Board Meeting at the Mount Vernon ISD Board Room in the Administration Building on February 14, 2011.  Copies of the AEIS Annual Report will be available at Franklin County Public Library, High School Library, Elementary Library, Administration Office, and each campus office.

In addition to the above copies, all AEIS information is available to the public at the Division of Performance Reporting website at http://ritter.tea.state.tx.us/perfreport/aeis/2010/index.html, or a link to AEIS data may be found on the Mount Vernon ISD web site at http://www.mtvernonisd.com.

Texas Education Code §39.053 requires each district’s board of trustees to publish an annual report that includes the AEIS report, campus performance objectives, a report of violent or criminal incidents, and information received under Texas Education Code §51.403(e) from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board.  The board of trustees shall hold a hearing for public discussion of the report, and they shall widely disseminate the report within the district.
