The City Council of the City Mount Vvernon will conduct a public hearing at 5:30 p.m., March 22, 2011 in the council chambers of City Hall, 109 N. Kaufman Street, Mount Vernon, Texas.

The purpose of this hearing is to hear evidence for or against a request to zone the proposed annexed properties:

326 N. Kaufman street (wastewater treatment plant)
City Cemetery
City Lake

Local Retail
W. SH-67 (Curve Court Apartments)
