N.E.T. Opportunities, Inc. under contract with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to provide Comprehensive Energy Assistance to low income households in seven county areas is now accepting the following bid for Delta, Franklin, Hopkins, Lamar, Rains, Red River and Titus Counties.

Items to be installed are new unvented space heaters, window air conditioning units, central heating/cooling systems, water heaters and refrigerators.

Bid packets will be available for pick up and mail-out beginning April 4, 2011.  Interested parties should contact N.E.T. Opportunities, Inc., 208 Taylor Street, Mt. Vernon, Texas 75457.

Mon.-Friday between the hours of 8:00-4:30p.m. A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 April 4, 2011 at the Mt. Vernon Meal a Day Center. All interested contractors are encouraged to attend this conference. Deadline to submit sealed bids is 1:00 p.m., April 15, 2011. The public sealed bid opening will be held April 18, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Mt. Vernon Meal a Day Center at 208 Taylor Street., Mt. Vernon, Texas.

Only completed sealed bids will be accepted.
