Notice is hereby given that the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District (NETMWD) will submit by 5 pm April 8, 2011, a grant application for financial assistance to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) on behalf of Region D to carry out planning activities to develop the 2016 Region D Regional Water Plan as part of the state’s Fourth Cycle (2012 – 2016) of Regional Water Planning.

The North East Texas Regional Water Planning Group – Region D consists of a nineteen (19) county area that includes all or part of the following counties:  Bowie, Camp, Cass, Delta, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Marion, Morris, Rains, Red River, Smith, Titus, Upshur, Van Zandt and Wood.

Copies of the grant application may be obtained from NETMWD when it becomes available or online at www.netmwd.com.  Written comments from the public regarding the grant application must be submitted to NETMWD and TWDB by no later than May 2, 2011.  Comments can be submitted to the NETMWD and the TWDB as follows:
